# Prototype: Event Log and Replay Verification

`event-log.verification.test.ts` imports the shared vertical-slice implementation
and exercises:

- defensive-copy append-only behavior and duplicate rejection;
- complete live-versus-genesis replay equality;
- valid and tampered checkpoint verification at the replay boundary;
- player/private/branch visibility across storage, checkpoint and replay;
- a seeded 1,000-event live/full/checkpoint hash comparison with durations.

Run from repository root:

```

Current result: `5` pass, `0` fail, `0` TODO.

The green suite does not manufacture missing coverage: the shared event contract
still lacks correction metadata, and the 1,000-event fixture does not model
branch chronology or primary-event references. Those portions keep the study
outcome `partial`.
